Michael Schur inspired the creation of "A Man On the Inside" after the Chilean documentary "The Mole Agent" viewing
Scenario
Charles, a pensioner, gets a new lease of life when he answers an ad for a private detective and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. He says, "Mole agent" the documentary is powerful because it makes people of any age, ethnicity, or gender feel something very similar, and I would describe that feeling in a very reductive way as, “I need to call my mom.” In our show, we tried to do a similar thing with the tone: Does our show make us want to call our moms?
Remake of El agente topo (2020)
I’m currently watching episode 5 as I write this. This show is fun, thought-provoking, and quite frankly, a joy.
Ted Danson is brilliant as usual
The rest of the actors who are engaging and exciting in this movie "Who did it," series. I am equally connected to the criminal aspect and I am the human aspect of loneliness.
The comedy is woven beautifully that the laughs are genuine
Each of us, regardless of age, brings something new to the table. I feel the warmth of the message without all my mind.
I hope this show continues on a ride that I really, really enjoy
Bravo to the writers, actors and directors who have created a gem of a show.
