A life-affirming, genre-bending story based on Stephen King’s novella about three chapters in the life of an ordinary man named Charles Krantz
Tom Hiddleston, Karen Gillan, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and David Dastmalchian have all appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though none of them appear in scenes together. Hiddleston is Loki and is most associated with the Thor films (2011) and the Loki TV series (2021), Gillan is Nebula and is most associated with the Čuvari galaksije films (2014), Ejiofor is Baron Mordo from the Doctor Strange films (2016), while Dastmalchian is Kurt from the first two Ant-Man films and Veb in Ant-Man i Wasp: Kvantumanija (2023).

When I watched The Life of Chuck, I knew nothing about it except that it was a Stephen King novella. I thought the film was going to be a horror film, but I was so wrong, in the best sense.
I also didn’t know the director Mike Flanagan, so my expectations were rather low
Still, The Life of Chuck has all the makings of a great horror film: well-developed and relatable characters placed in a unique and mysterious situation. I’m going to keep my review relatively vague, as I believe the film’s hook works best when you don’t know much.
I highly recommend it
I left the film feeling both joyful and melancholy, and appreciative of the artistry that brought me here.
