A nod to the fact that "Creep" Radiohead is a repeat (because of the song) of "The Air That I Breathe" Hollies, who were previously mentioned by Grant in the film.. Credits note that Generative Al was not used in the making of the film..
The more you know, the less you know
The trailer for this was amazing, the actual movie is better than the trailer in many ways. All three main protagonists were incredibly well acted, the staging made you feel conveniently claustrophobic & would be an excellent show Religion & faith is at the heart of the story and the filmmakers have created an amazing journey where you, the audience, sometimes feel like you know more than the missionaries, but there are many dead ends in this mousetrap & you will never fully understand what you see.
In one trip
As you know I don’t do spoilers but there is so much symbolism in this movie, the board game is most obvious because you have a preconceived idea of the roles Hugh Grant & The English accent makes him sound so believable, but like a leaky roof, you get information as the film progresses. Worth watching if you like Hitchcock mystery thrillers.
The soundtrack was so fitting, it’s all about BeliefPad
And 8/10.
